Cutting hole in Siporex/Ytong wall

 6     Hønefoss     0
Hi,
plan to cut a wall on east side to let sun in. Wall is in total 11m wide and cca 5m height on two stories, in average 5m and plus triangle to the roof. Opening would be 250x210cm on the ground level.
What is the easisest way to do it? To make armed concrete beam or there is some more affordable solution? I have heard for some fiber glass I shaped beams that are light and very strong. Anyone who knows something about it?
If that is not an option, then I sopouse to secure it with some vertical pipes before cutting hole or...?
On the other side of the house, whole wall is cutted off without any beam below. Ive noticed that during renovation of bathroom and was stunned it hold just like that. Guess its because of Ytong structure, I dont know, but it is like that.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
PS
How to search on Norwegian sites for that size "fastkarm vindu"? It is not possible to find that size fastkarm vindu, maximum is 250x150 with one "rute" no more than that. So, I guess there is special name for that size fastkarm vindu, In my language we called it "portal", but obviously here is not the case.

Have you checked with your kommune if you can change the façade? In most cases you have to apply to kommune and ask any affected neighbors for permission.

If the wall is siporex you can maybe use the standard beams they produce?

Hi Joe, thank you for reply,
not sure if the main Ytong load beams are proper for this work. It is 3m opening. It is not load wall, but stil... I was thinking about those glass-fiber composite beams, they are like cca 1000nok for 6m length plus mva. That seems reasonable both for load and thermal characteristics, but...

Regarding permission from kommune, no, I havent think about that but thank you for leting me know. I live in Veme which is like a non-urban area, not sure if rules apply to places like that, but will check for sure.
I was just wondering about some wall support before installing beam and some advise about that. As I said, it is not loading wall, but still.
